What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website or service stores through your browser. They can help maintain a secure session and remember necessary information between requests.
Essential authentication cookie
After login, Zeggai uses an essential cookie named zeggai_refresh to maintain and securely renew your authenticated session.
In production this cookie is HttpOnly and Secure, is sent only to Zeggai authentication routes, and uses the cross-site setting needed for the Zeggai website and API to work together. It expires after up to 30 days unless it is rotated, revoked, or cleared when you log out.
Session storage
A short-lived access token is kept in browser session storage so authenticated pages can call the Zeggai API. Session storage is cleared for that browser tab or window when the session ends or you log out.
Local storage
Zeggai uses local browser storage for application preferences and working state, such as onboarding details, settings, column mappings, and locally cached workflow information. This helps preserve your choices between page visits.
You can clear browser storage through your browser settings, although doing so may reset local preferences or require you to sign in again.
Analytics and marketing
Zeggai does not currently use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or behavioral analytics cookies. If this changes, this policy and any required choices will be updated before those technologies are used.
Managing essential technology
You can block cookies or clear browser storage in your browser. Blocking the essential authentication cookie will prevent login and authenticated features from working correctly.
